Once August rolls around, rehearsals will be underway for Significant Other at Mauckingbird Theatre Company! Donovan is so SO excited, not only to be tackling the role of Vanessa, but to also be making her Mauckingbird debut!
This month, Donovan will also get the chance to explore her artistry from behind the table! She will be acting as script supervisor and marketing coordinator for the semi-autobiographical staged reading of Matt Flocco’s new play Sent to Heaven, Scared of Heights, directed by Jennie Eisenhower. New works, new works, new works! Donovan is thrilled to have been cast in a reading of Buffalo Bill or How to Be a Good Man by Meghan Kennedy, part of PlayPenn’s 2019 New Play Development Conference. The reading will take place July 23rd at 7pm. Check back here for more info!
Donovan will be performing in a reading of local playwright Steve Gravelle’s new play Chef & Robot, part of Philadelphia’s SoLow Fest. The reading will be performing on June 23rd and 24th at 7pm at the Asian Arts Initiative. All tickets are pay what you can!
Donovan has been cast as The Cook in Subscension Theatre’s production of the wonderfully epic play Mother Courage & Her Children, directed by Elise D’Avella. Performances will take place at Headhouse Farmers Market in Queen Village, Philadelphia. Check out this video to hear Donovan and her castmates talk about what this production means to them!

Donovan has been cast as the lead in the short film Luminary. Filming will take place on location in northeastern PA. She looks forward to traveling for this exciting project!
Donovan has been cast as Dani in the upcoming feature-length film Kings, written and directed by Josh DiCristo. Shooting will wrap in December. Stay tuned!
Donovan is absolutely THRILLED to be returning to the Revolution Shakespeare team this fall, this time to perform in Troilus & Cressida, directed by Brenna Geffers. Donovan will be returning to the roles of Patroclus, after having performed in the Troilus staged reading last season. That time was all-too short, and she's so excited to bring free Shakespeare to Hawthorne Park! Check it out here!
